Role Overview
We are seeking a mission-driven and deeply technical Senior Software Engineer to build our platform. This role will be responsible for building and scaling Nimblemind's platform and delivering a world-class product that addresses healthcare providers' most pressing challenges. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, this role will collaborate closely with the AI, product, and business teams to ensure Nimblemind.ai delivers on its transformative promise.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-On Product Development
- Take a lead contributor role in designing, building, and deploying core components of the Nimblemind.ai platform.
- Build and deliver product iterations rapidly.
- Design technical frameworks and infrastructure for long-term growth.
Technical Leadership
- In collaboration with the VP of Engineering, execute the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for the Nimblemind.ai platform.
- Partner with the AI team to integrate state-of-the-art ML workflows.
- Ensure technical decisions align with business needs and long-term scalability.
Team Building and Culture
- Maintain engineering best practices, ensuring high-quality code, documentation, and systems.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that aligns with Nimblemind's mission.
Operational Excellence
- Optimize system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Implement processes and tools that scale with the platform and team.
- Monitor engineering metrics to ensure uptime, performance, security and cost-efficiency.
Customer-Centric Development
- With guidance from the VP of Engineering, build secure, compliant, and high-trust systems to meet the unique needs of healthcare providers.
- Advocate for and build ethical AI practices.
- Ensure our AI solutions prioritize patient privacy and data security standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Proven ability to design, build, and manage large-scale, cloud-based systems with high reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.
- Expertise in developing scalable SaaS platforms in regulated industries like healthcare.
- Deep knowledge of data engineering, integration, and system design principles.
- Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR) and data security regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
