I am partnered with a company who have built a technology platform that integrates platforms across connected spaces. The platform allows operators of those spaces to have insights into customer behaviours, of which that data then can be used to make business decisions.
They are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their Data Platform Team, where you will take ownership of the design, implementation and optimizing of their data solutions for Sports and Entertainment venues.
You will be responsible for architecting their analytics data platform, building pipelines and implement scalable ETL processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Synapse Analytics
- Build real-time streaming solutions
- Architect and maintain data storage solutions in Databricks
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years Data engineering expeirence
- Demonstrated expeirence in PySpark Pandas and building data pipelines
- SQL and Spark Experience - query optimization, performance tuning and experience with dbt
- Experience with Real Time data
