Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose and Commitments of Fraser Health including service delivery that is centered around patients/clients/residents and families:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for providing leadership in Business Process Reengineering concepts, methods and technologies.  Leads the analysis and documentation of business requirements for client-facing and internal Informatics services delivery processes for business, clinical, and systems support services within Fraser Health.  The Senior Business Analyst will be engaged in multiple initiatives and will be responsible for project planning, business requirements gathering, data analysis and supporting the execution of projects and change management.  Provides leadership and acts as an escalation point for Business Analysts to assist in resolving complex problems.
Responsibilities


  1. Provides strategic planning support and change management services by leading and providing senior level support and guidance in streamlining business processes and best practices for health and corporate information systems capture and utilization.
  2. Leads, develops, and maintains the business processes necessary to facilitate care provider access to health and corporate information systems by conducting feasibility studies and determining user requirements for the uptake of health and corporate information functionality or systems. Leads, coordinates and/or participates in initiatives and process redesign that supports and follows the service management methodology.
  3. Provides senior level business analysis by carrying out work flow analysis, developing business information requirements and models, defining business scope and objectives and planning, designing, or modifying practical manual and automated business processes.
  4. Provides health information systems projects responsibility, under the direction of the Lead or Portfolio Manager, by performing business systems analysis support. Will lead small projects and provide project management guidance to Business Analysts.
  5. Analyzes and diagnoses health information systems applications and/or business issues and provides resolution to either the systems or the business processes. Supports business process changes and/or functional changes to health information systems in support of business practice requirements by testing, modifying, and maintaining the integrated health information systems applications.
  6. Develops Service Level Agreements between Informatics and assigned business areas to support the movement of projects to operational status, maintenance, and support.
  7. Resolves operational issues with health information systems as identified internally or externally from the Informatics Customer Service desk.
  8. Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of health informatics goals, objectives, policies and procedures for Informatics and assigned business areas within Fraser Health.
  9. Participates on assigned internal and external committees as required and works collaboratively as a member of the Health Information Systems and Services team.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Systems Management or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Three (3) to five (5) years of recent, related experience in a medium to large sized organization. Experience with health and corporate information systems.

Fraser Health’s Digital Patient and Provider Experience department is expanding and currently hiring for a position within the Video Collaboration Team. The Senior Business Analyst, Digital Patient and Provider Experience, is responsible for managing assigned projects, assisting team members and applying appropriate change management strategies as part of a project.  You will provide advice, guidance, training and direction in the area of Video Collaboration solutions, internally to clients throughout Fraser Health. You are expected to adapt quickly and think of creative solutions to situations as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and provide system design recommendations in the area of video enabled systems that are used in both business and clinical settings within Fraser Health
  • Manage and support break-fixes for video enabled room systems such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Traditional Video Conferencing Rooms
  • Manage installation and commissioning of audiovisual and video collaboration systems
  • Create and optimize business processes to support the implementation and use of video conference hardware and software, such as client support, creating manuals and troubleshooting guides
  • Performs tasks such as confirming user requirements, identifying concerns with existing or planned systems and recommending appropriate upgrades and/or new systems
  • Performs preventative maintenance of AV and video enabled conferencing systems by performing duties such as testing, cleaning equipment, and ensuring that operating software versions are up to date
  • Provide VIP training and support for virtual town halls

Are you motivated to join us? We will be looking for you to have the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related Telecommunications or Audio-Visual Field(s)
  • Related audiovisual certifications, such as: CTS, CTS-D, QSC, Biamp, Kramer, Extron, or Crestron Technician
  • 5+ years of experience in the AV industry, managing enterprise-wide solutions

An asset to this role would be:

  • Experience with working on projects within departments such as Health Information Management and Redevelopment teams.   AV and VC experience is required.  Project Management experience with a focus on AV and VC is preferred. 

This is a Full Time position available, located at Central City, Surrey BC with regular travel within the Fraser Health Authority region is expected.
