Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to developing and implementing internal processes and best practices that continuously improve our fund administration and investor experience
- Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met promptly and precisely
- Support accounting and tax teams to deliver timely and accurate financial reporting
- Manage day-to-day LP communications, including facilitating investor due diligence questions, managing access to our investor portal, and supporting subscription document completion
- Maintain database of LP data and proactively coordinate communications during live deal processes
- Collaborate with our copywriter to prepare regular reports and portfolio company updates on investment performance
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or another related analytical degree
- 4-6 years of experience in a Business Operations or Fund Operations role, preferably with some knowledge and experience in venture capital. Small team or start-up experience is a preferred
- Strong analytical skills with prior exposure to financial accounting through coursework or industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Conviction and confidence to execute tasks while navigating ambiguity
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency and comfort with using and exploring digital tools (eg. HubSpot, Gusto, Monday.com, Slack, Zapier) - we are always looking for ways to leverage technology to streamline operations. Someone interested in experimenting and implementing technology is preferred.
- Process or system-building experience is a plus
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and quickly re-prioritize
