About Our Client
Our client is sourcing a Senior Accountant to join their team.

About the Opportunity
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end and year-end close.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data within the ERP (Microsoft Business Central – D365).
  • Analyze financial results by business unit and product line, identifying trends and explaining variances.
  • Manage accounts receivable aging, bad debt analysis, and early-stage collection activities (customer outreach, statement preparation).
  • Support internal and external audits through documentation, reconciliations, and responses to audit requests.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and SOX requirements.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate across finance and operational teams to support informed business decisions.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (CPA designation preferred).
  • Bilingual (English/French) required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to financial reporting.
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Business Central (D365) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis).
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
