Job Summary:
An experienced and dedicated SAP SD Senior Consultant to join Dangote SAP Delivery Center in India. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of our SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) solutions. You will work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into effective SAP functionalities, optimize sales and distribution processes, and ensure seamless integration across our enterprise.
The ideal candidate will possess deep functional expertise in the SAP SD module, a proven track record of successful project participation, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

• Business Requirements Analysis & Solution Design:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, Logistics, Finance) to thoroughly understand, analyze, and document complex business requirements related to sales, order management, pricing, shipping, and billing processes.
• Translate detailed business requirements into clear functional specifications and robust SAP SD solution designs that align with best practices and system capabilities.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to validate requirements and proposed solutions with key business users.

• SAP SD Configuration & Customization:

• Perform hands-on configuration and customization within the SAP SD module across various functionalities, including:

• Sales Document Processing: Sales Order types, Item Categories, Schedule Line Categories.
• Pricing: Condition Types, Access Sequences, Pricing Procedures, Condition Records.
• Master Data: Customer Master Data, Material Master Data (relevant views).
• Availability Check (ATP) and Transfer of Requirements.
• Shipping & Deliveries: Delivery Document types, Picking, Packing, Goods Issue processes.
• Billing: Billing Document types, Invoicing, Credit/Debit Memos.
• Credit Management and Account Determination.
• Output Determination.
• Returns Management.
• Special Sales Processes (Consignment, Intercompany Sales) as required.
• Ensure all configurations meet functional specifications and integrate seamlessly with other SAP modules.

• Project Implementation & Support:

• Actively participate in all phases of the SAP project lifecycle, including blueprinting, realization, testing, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Prepare detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEF objects: Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms) and collaborate effectively with ABAP developers.
• Support data migration activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of SD-related master and transactional data.

• Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Develop comprehensive test scripts, execute unit testing, support system integration testing (SIT), and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of SAP SD solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve defects, incidents, and discrepancies encountered during testing and post-implementation.

• User Training & Documentation:

• Develop clear and user-friendly training materials and deliver training sessions to end-users to ensure effective system adoption.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process flows, functional specifications, configuration guides, and user manuals.
• Integration & Cross-Module Collaboration:

• Possess a strong understanding of integration points between SAP SD and other core SAP modules (SAP FI/CO, SAP MM, SAP PP, SAP WM, SAP QM).
• Collaborate effectively with other SAP functional consultants and technical teams to ensure end-to-end process integration and data flow.
• Ongoing Support & Optimization:

• Provide expert Level 2/3 support for SAP SD modules, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze existing processes and system usage to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization of SAP SD functionalities.
• Manage and prioritize incidents and change requests within your area of expertise.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant.
• Proven experience in participating in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP SD implementation projects or significant enhancement/rollout projects.
• Deep functional expertise in Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Sales is highly desirable. Experience with SAP ECC 6.0 is also valuable.
• Technical Proficiency:

• In-depth knowledge of SAP SD module configurations, master data, and transactional processes.
• Strong understanding of condition technique for pricing, output, and partner determination.
• Ability to write clear and detailed functional specifications for custom developments (RICEF objects).
• Familiarity with ABAP debugging is a significant advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP SD Certification (SAP Certified Application Associate - Sales and Distribution with SAP ERP / SAP S/4HANA Sales).
• Experience in the [mention specific industry, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Retail] sector.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications relevant to sales processes.
• Experience with integrated solutions such as SAP CRM, SAP GTS, or EWM.
