Responsibilities
- Research organizations and individuals online, especially on social media platforms, to identify new leads and potential new markets.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
- Research the needs of other companies and learn who makes purchase decisions.
- Contact potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings.
- Understand the company’s products and solutions to explain and sell them to prospective clients clearly.
- Understand the sales brief and deliver the pitch-perfect messages to prospective customers.
- Contact clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products.
- Sending existing clients greetings and wishes on special occasions and festivals.
- Maintain database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
- Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people all day.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines to achieve targets.
Qualifications
- Advanced computer skills including proficiency in MS Office.
- Functional knowledge of the IT domain.
- Full knowledge of professional social networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Bachelor’s degree in sales/marketing.
