SA105 - House Manager/Nanny - Scarsdale, NY

Overview

A professional family in Scarsdale, NY is looking for a full-time house manager/nanny.  They have two daughters, ages 5 and 10 years old.  This is a Tuesday through Saturday role with hours during the week, 10am-6pm, and hours on Saturday, 1pm-9pm.  The majority of the role is to be the house manager for their large estate and the nanny part of the role is to accompany the family on vacations to assist with childcare. This is a live-out role but when the family travels the candidate will be provided with their own bedroom and bathroom.  The family also has a dog.

Responsibilities

• Act a house manager for large estate
• Maintain inventory of all supplies and groceries and replenish to ensure family has what they need, and nothing is depleted
• Oversee contractors and vendors 
• Create and oversee work list and ensure tasks are completed 
• Oversee full-time housekeeper
• Assist with booking and coordinating travel
• Running errands and purchasing gifts
• Respond to emails and assist with some administrative tasks
• When traveling assist with packing and unpacking
• Travel with family domestically and internationally and provide childcare (about 4-5 times per year)

Qualifications

• Good head on shoulders and great common sense
• Able to work as part of a team

• Able to drive and has own car

• Takes feedback well
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable around dogs

Salary and Benefits

$40/hr plus some benefits
