Position Summary
The Restoration Manager is a dual-functional leadership role combining external customer acquisition (post-loss sales) and internal team production management. This person will be responsible for responding to property loss events (water, fire, mold, storm, etc.), signing customers up for restoration work, and then overseeing the execution of all phases of the restoration process—from initial job setup through completion—ensuring quality, schedule adherence, cost control, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to loss notifications, lead on-site inspections, determine scope and plan.
- Conduct presentations to adjusters, property owners, and facility managers explaining scope, timeline, and deliverables.
- Prepare and present proposals/contracts and secure signed agreements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers and referral sources.
- Assign, schedule, and supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
- Oversee job startup, documentation, budgets, change orders, billing, and close-out.
- Monitor quality assurance, enforce safety regulations and IICRC standards.
- Coach and mentor field teams; evaluate performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with estimating, procurement, and operations teams to refine scopes.
- Participate in on-call rotation or emergency response as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in restoration or related construction industry.
- Proven ability to sign up customers post-loss and manage restoration projects from start to finish.
- Experience with insurance claims, adjusters, or property management preferred.
- Experience using Xactimate or similar estimating/project management software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and sales aptitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Compensation
