Regional Sales Manager – Oil & Gas (Measurement & Analyzer Solutions) Location: Remote – ideal hubs include Houston, West Texas (Permian), or North Central / Northeast (Chicago–Pennsylvania corridor) Travel: ~50%–70% (mix of local + overnight) Compensation: competitive base + uncapped commission  Reports To: Sales Leadership Company Overview Our client is a rapidly growing industrial technology provider delivering real-time measurement and process analytics for energy operators. Their technology enables customers to optimize operations, increase efficiency, reduce variability, and drive process-driven profitability. By combining advanced hardware, software analytics, and data visualization, the company offers real-time hydrocarbon measurement and quality assurance solutions with a proven return on investment, often within months rather than years. Customers include upstream, midstream and downstream operators, with key relationships across operations leadership, plant management, measurement teams, and technical engineering stakeholders. This is an opportunity to join a technology-backed commercial organization during a period of rapid expansion, owning a strategic territory and selling high-impact capital and recurring-revenue solutions. Role Overview We are seeking a technically-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across a defined energy territory. This is a hands-on, consultative, solution-driven sales role focused on capital equipment, real-time measurement, and process optimization technologies. This individual will interact directly with customers on-site, walk facilities, evaluate installations, and collaborate with internal engineering teams to tailor technical solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in entrepreneurial environments and excels at translating complex technology into clear business value. Key Responsibilities Drive strategic sales growth across key midstream and downstream accounts Build and maintain strong relationships with operators, plant leaders, and measurement professionals Lead complex solution-based sales cycles from prospecting through close Conduct site visits to understand measurement needs and discuss installation requirements Partner with internal technical and engineering resources on proposals and solution design Manage RFQs, develop proposals, and negotiate commercial terms Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts and territory performance metrics Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer site visits Serve as a trusted technical advisor focused on long-term value delivery Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field preferred 5+ years of technical B2B sales experience in oil & gas (midstream/downstream focus strongly preferred) Experience selling complex instrumentation, analyzers, or measurement solutions Strong understanding of process analyzers, measurement systems, and industrial instrumentation Ability to communicate and sell complex technology solutions and ROI-driven outcomes Hands-on experience collaborating with engineers/techs on system installations or technical integrations Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and deal execution skills Ability to excel in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ideal Profile Proven track record selling technical measurement, analyzer, spectroscopy, or process control systems Experience supporting capital project sales with engineering collaboration Deep knowledge of hydrocarbon measurement and energy process operations Demonstrated success building territories and exceeding quotas Self-starter with a hunter mentality and high technical aptitude Interested parties, please apply here and qualified applicants will receive a response.
