About the job
We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced and friendly Receptionist (37hrs per week, term time only plus 5 additional days) to join our admin support team at Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College. The hours for this post are 07:50 – 16:00 (Monday to Thursday) and 07:50 -15:30 (Friday), with a 40minute daily lunchbreak. We welcome applications from candidates seeking part time employment as part of a job share arrangement. However, applications from candidates wishing to be considered for the full role will be considered equally.

About the Role
The Receptionist is responsible for the smooth running of the main reception area and is the first point of contact for enquiries, responsible for operating a reception service that promotes the professional image of the Academy. In addition, the Receptionist will act as an Administrative Assistant, providing support for a range of office functions.

About You
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level (Grade D or above / 4 or above in both English and maths), be IT literate, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will also have an understanding of safeguarding procedures and be able to establish good professional relationships.
