About the Role
Electrum is developing the digital and operational backbone for Indonesia’s electric mobility ecosystem. We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of applications that connect vehicles, battery swapping stations, and user platforms.
You will design test strategies, execute manual and automated testing, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products at speed.
What You Will Do
Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios for backend, web, and mobile applications.
Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Work with automation frameworks to increase coverage and testing efficiency.
Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and expected outcomes.
Investigate and document defects clearly, verifying fixes and ensuring proper root-cause resolution.
Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve testing processes and tools.
Contribute to build verification and release validation activities.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
2–5 years of experience in software testing (manual and/or automated).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar.
Experience with API and backend validation (logs, database queries, API responses).
Familiarity with defect management and CI/CD workflows.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience testing IoT or hardware-integrated applications.
Knowledge of cloud-based environments (GCP/AWS/Azure).
Experience with performance testing or security testing tools.
Exposure to scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
