About the Job
- Define quality standards and lead activities to achieve them in the development of software systems to revamp the platform supporting Macromill’s operations.
- Participate from the planning stages of products and initiatives, conducting specification reviews and proposing improvements, as well as planning and executing necessary tests.
- Contribute to enhancing the overall quality efforts within the product development cycle by sharing testing knowledge with engineers to continuously improve quality across the team.
- Develop program code and test code with maintainability in mind, while continuously improving source code.
- Review test cases/test code written by other engineers including vendors.
- Collaborate as a member of an Agile development team, working with backend and frontend engineers to create, review, and execute test cases and acceptance criteria in line with functional requirements.
- Build trust with stakeholders and ensure accountability by providing clear explanations of quality management processes.

Application Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in mobile and web application testing and quality assurance
- Knowledge and experience in software testing, test automation, and end-to-end (E2E) testing (Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Postman, Espresso, XCUI, etc)
- Experience in building test environments and knowledge of CI/CD
- Strong passion for test automation and software engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent knowledge and understanding
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in software development
- Project management experience or equivalent knowledge
- Experience in Agile development
- Knowledge of JavaScript,Typescript
- Experience in software development and testing using cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Testing experience in a microservices environment
- Knowledge and experience with Playwright
- Experience with AI automation tools such as MagicPod, Autify, or Mabl
- Knowledge of API testing, performance testing, and security testing
- Proficiency in English communication (Japanese ability preferred)
