Project Manager – Kingston Upon Thames – 6 Month Contract – £350-450 per day Umbrella – start date ASAP.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for Project Manager to join the Children, Families and Learning department to establish and manage a project to review and address issues with education related transport.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
* Change the way the council provides SEND (Special Educational Needs Disability) transport.
* Managing residents’ expectations.
* Reducing costs to deliver a more sustainable service.
* Strategic planning of transport provision across all council directorates.
* Look at what transport services the council can provide while remaining financially sustainable.
* Identify opportunities to better link up and co-ordinate these services.
To be suitable for this opportunity; the following qualifications or experience is required:
* SEND (Special Educational Needs Disability) experience.
* Experienced project manager.
* Strong Relationship and stakeholder management.
* Local Government experience and ideally exposure to Transport policy and provision, as well as Education related transport ideal. Although does not need to have deep subject knowledge.
* Track record of delivery; drives through change and priorities with a sense of pace.
* Shaping and setting up projects; business case development; establishing governance.
36 Hours per week.
