Job Description:
- Must have attained at least 10 years of experience in Supervisor level working in a pressure vessel fabrication and structural fabrication environment
- Thorough working knowledge of the pressure vessel repair activities associated with pressure vessels and structural fabrication
- Thorough working knowledge of different welding methodologies including TIG, MIG, SAW, SMAW, etc for pressure vessels and structural fabrication
- Experience in planning manpower and resource requirement
- Ordering any parts/tools needed as per Company procedures
- Coordinating with production team to promote optimum production efficiency and meet delivery requirements.
- Monitoring safety in department.
- Work within an MRP system to acquire and analyze manufacturing data
- Implement process improvement through lean manufacturing activities
- Organize and maintain employee training matrix and plan for future required employee trainings
- Review department capacity and make necessary changes to meet current and future requirements
- Oversee line activities with the fabrication team
- Track, monitor and implement improvement activities related to business plan, goals, issues
