About the job

Who are we?

Finance teams need clear visibility into their cash flow, but most still rely on Excel to manually track data across multiple bank accounts. This makes it hard to see real-time cash positions, spot trends, and drive smarter financial decisions.

Nilus changes that.

We're building an AI-powered cash management platform that gives finance teams real-time cash visibility, forecasting, and reconciliation—all powered by AI, eliminating manual work and unlocking insights that help businesses grow.

Backed by top VCs like Bessemer, Felicis, BTV, and Symbol, Nilus is a fast-growing fintech startup led by a team of ex-fintech pros passionate about transforming the finance function.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a Product Operations Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in making sure we are providing an awesome product with accurate results to our customers while providing critical insight on how we can improve. You’ll be responsible for data validation, monitoring, and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our data systems all while working closely with our customers.

What you will be doing:

  • Monitor, cleanse, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across operational systems and databases.
  • Design, maintain, and optimize complex SQL queries and scripts for data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting to support operational decision-making.
  • Support client onboarding by designing, configuring, and implementing reconciliation flows tailored to business needs and ensuring smooth data integration.
  • Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies or process exceptions, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.
  • Analyze reconciliation performance, track operational trends, and offer recommendations to enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve product functionality.
  • Work closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation, operational support, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Industrial management, data science, economics, accounting or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an analyst, preferably in a tech company.
  • An Excel and data visualization tools wizard
  • Experience with SQL and Python
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and comfort working with large and complex data sets.
  • Self-learner who thrives in the fast-paced and dynamic environments of early-stage startups.
  • English at a very high level (both written and verbal)- a must!
  • Finance experience- an advantage :)
