The Procurement Manager at Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) enables efficient, transparent, and strategic sourcing to activate Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) initiatives across programs like the Museum of the Future, Dubai Future Labs, and other futureproofing projects. The role administers grants and funding initiatives supporting fundamental and applied research, coordinates proposal reviews, manages award processes, and ensures funded projects align with Dubai RDI priorities. Core mandate spans identifying and selecting qualified suppliers for contracted services, materials, and IT/software solutions; negotiating contracts and pricing to secure competitive terms while maintaining quality, reliability, and long-term institutional alignment; coordinating with internal teams to forecast procurement needs, gather user requirements, and plan budgets; maintaining accurate records of procurement processes, contracts, and supplier performance; and ensuring compliance with public-sector procurement, ethical practices, sustainability considerations, and regulatory standards to support audit readiness. The position facilitates vendor onboarding, performance evaluation, and long-term relationship management; proposes and implements continuous improvement to optimize procurement plans, processes, and workflows; and drives cost-effectiveness, governance, and agility so resources are deployed effectively for maximum impact in a fast-paced environment focused on innovation and foresight.
