Network Engineer- Senior

In this role, you will evaluates communication hardware and software, troubleshoots LAN/MAN/WAN and other network related problems, provides technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks. Oversee general LAN/MAN/WAN administration, provides technical leadership in the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. Schedule conversions and cutovers. As well as, interpret, refine, and develop supplemental policy and guidance to implement information management directives in support of the Soldier. Other responsibilities are listed below: 

• Provides Information Assurance oversight and management
• Oversees network management operational activities
• Supervises maintenance of systems
• Coordinates with all responsible users and sites
• Supervises staff
• Applies broad professional engineering knowledge and intensive knowledge of automation and sciences to assigned projects and programs
• Reviews, coordinates and negotiates technical requirements across a wide spectrum of proponent organizations
• Ensures that total systems requirements are identified and documented

• Master's Degree (four-year college or university) in an IT-related field or equivalent combination of work experience
• Ten or more (10+) years in engineering 
• Active Secret Clearance
• DoD 8570 certification
• A commitment to your profession demonstrated by participation in providing support, guidance and memberships in professional associations
