Network Senior Engineer

Main job purpose
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to design, implement and maintain our enterprise network infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the performance, security and scalability of our network systems across multiple sites and platforms.
Outputs
Design and deploy LAN, WAN and wireless networks, including routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
• Implement and manage network security protocols, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud integration, data center operations and remote connectivity.
• Lead network upgrades, migrations and capacity planning initiatives.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, diagrams and operational procedures.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on strategic projects.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance network efficiency and security.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, or similar networking platforms.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark).
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF and other protocols.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent) highly desirable.
