Summary:

What your team does:

The Marketing Operations team is a center of operational excellence on Clio’s marketing team. This centralized function oversees campaign operations, database and segmentation management, reporting and insights, email marketing, go-to-market and lead funnel infrastructure, process engineering and tech stack management. We build best in class campaigns, processes, and automations that empower a high performing marketing team. This individual contributor role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations and collaborates closely with the RevOps, SalesOps, BizOps, and Marketing teams to deliver cross-functional initiatives. This role will drive meaningful business impact through efficiencies, optimizations, and innovation.

Who you are:

You are a seasoned and accomplished marketing operations professional with a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision. You thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at leveraging data to optimize critical marketing programs, including lead scoring, attribution, and lifecycle management. As a proactive leader, you take ownership of the end-to-end marketing operations process, consistently driving improvements that align teams with overarching business objectives. Leveraging extensive experience in platforms like Marketo and Salesforce, you lead cross-functional initiatives that enhance efficiency, deliver measurable results, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and agility.

What you’ll work on:

Technology, AI, Processes, and Automation

  • Procure, implement, and optimize technology and automations for Clio’s global marketing team, and manage vendor relationships.

  • Identify and troubleshoot errors, optimize syncs, and monitor marketing system performance to ensure smooth operations.

  • Use AI to build and optimize automations and processes to increase efficiency and impact at a global scale.

  • Translate project requirements into technical specifications and propose innovative solutions.

  • Support the MarOps team on lead funnel management, marketing definitions, routing, and lead infrastructure.

Data, Insights, Attribution and Reporting

  • Administer and optimize marketing attribution technology, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting across all marketing channels and activities.

  • Leverage data, analytics, and AI to measure campaign performance, track key metrics, and identify opportunities for optimization across the marketing funnel.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Insights, RevOps, IT, and other teams to integrate data, align on a single source of truth, build data pipelines and frameworks, and implement data governance practices to ensure accuracy across marketing systems.

  • Optimize processes and automations for data compliance, hygiene, and duplication.

Strategy, Planning, and Execution

  • Scope, define, and organize work for the MarOps team by managing sprints.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define strategy and roadmaps, enabling them on new automations, processes, and technologies.

  • Support the MarOps team on ongoing execution needs of the business, including building nurture programs, campaigns, webinars, events, emails, landing pages, etc.

  • Develop training and process documentation; audit technologies to ensure continuous improvement.

  • Own strategic and foundational projects and support the Senior Marketing Operations Manager and MarOps team on their projects as needed.

  • Mentor junior MarOps team members in automation, technology, and industry trends.

What you bring:

  • 7+ years of proficient experience with marketing automation platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hubspot)

  • 7+ years of proficient experience with a CRM (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Hubspot)

  • Proficient in data segmentation and reporting using BI tools and Excel

  • Flexibility and adaptable in a fast paced and dynamic environment

  • Proficiency in of HTML and CSS

  • Excellent communication and project management skills

  • Marketo Admin Certified

  • Salesforce Admin Certified

Serious bonus points if you have:

  • Experience deploying AI solutions for marketing

  • Direct experience at a high growth SaaS company

  • Expertise with a query language (SQL)

  • A graduate degree in a relevant discipline (Business, Technology, Operations, Data)

The full salary range* for this role is $97,800 to $115,000 to $132,200 CAD.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate. Please note there are a separate set of salary bands for other regions based on local currency.
