Logistics & Freight Manager

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Plan and coordinate transportation routes, schedules, and delivery methods to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, S&OP, and Finance departments to align logistics strategies with business objectives.
• Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts with third-party logistics partners, freight forwarders, and clearance agents.
• Develop strategies to optimize freight expenses while maintaining high service quality.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with international transportation and trade regulations.
• Manage import/export processes, including handling customs documents, duties, and tariffs.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, such as delays, damages, and legal issues.
• Collect and analyze data related to logistics performance, including delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key metrics and recommending improvements.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years in logistics and freight management, preferably in FMCG or logistics sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• CSCP, PMP, or CILT certification preferred.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
