My client is a leading retailer in the Kingdom. They are looking for a Freight expert to join their team. You will be responsible for: * End-to-end import and export activities, ensuring the timely and accurate shipment of goods while optimizing costs and maintaining service quality. * Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to establish efficient shipment schedules and handle all necessary documentation. * Stay abreast of changing regional import and export regulations, tariffs, and trade agreements to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks. * Ensure the accurate classification of products using Harmonized System (HS) codes and ensure up-todate knowledge of code changes in the Middle East and Europe markets. * Provide strategic direction and make data-driven decisions based on monthly and weekly reports, offering insights on KPIs, shipment volumes, and compliance metrics. * Ensure accurate and meticulous record-keeping of shipments, customs documentation, and other relevant information in alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements. * Manage customs clearance procedures, striving for smooth processing and on-time delivery of goods to Warehouse / Customers. * Work closely with internal departments, including sales, procurement, and finance, to optimize supply chain collaboration and achieve business objectives. * Review monthly invoices related to import and export activities, ensuring accuracy and addressing discrepancies in a timely manner before submission to the finance department for processing and payment. * Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs team to secure the necessary product certifications and licenses required for import and export in the target regions. * Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment and provide coaching, men Salt is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
