About the role
We are seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join our legal team. In this role, you will play a vital role in supporting our business operations by handling a variety of commercial transactions and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. You will report directly to the Head of Legal, gaining valuable mentorship and guidance.
On a typical day you'll
- Structure, draft, negotiate and review all types and aspects of commercial agreements, including EULAs, Licensing Agreements, DPAs, Supplier Agreements, NDAs and others.
- Advise on and ensure compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and related privacy laws.
- Create and maintain standard templates, business processes and internal policies to help scale the business.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support various business initiatives.
- Provide legal advice and work closely with all our marketing, business development and sales divisions.
About you
- 3-4 years of experience in the commercial department of a leading law firm or a SaaS based hi-tech company.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions, including licensing, distribution, and non-disclosure agreements - MUST.
- In-depth knowledge of data protection regulations, particularly GDPR - Plus.
- Business-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving commercial objectives.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong writing skills, analytical approach, attention to details, and organizational abilities.
