About the Role:
We’re looking for a Legal Counsel to join BigPanda’s Legal team and support our General Counsel. This role will focus on privacy law, AI/ML regulatory issues, and SaaS commercial contracts while helping us scale an Enterprise Software company serving Fortune 5000 enterprises.
The team is collaborative, fast-moving, and focused on ensuring BigPanda operates with legal and regulatory excellence as we grow globally.
What you will do:
- Draft and negotiate SaaS and enterprise contracts
- Support GDPR compliance, privacy policies, and data protection agreements
- Analyze AI/ML regulatory developments and advise on compliance
- Manage contract lifecycle processes and vendor assessments
- Assist with corporate governance and general commercial legal matters
Required Skills:
- JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
- Licensed to practice in any US state or a qualified solicitor in England & Wales
- Minimum 1 year legal experience (law firm or in-house)
- Demonstrated GDPR compliance and privacy law experience
- Hands-on with DPAs, PIAs, and breach response
- Experience drafting privacy policies and managing regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of SaaS contracts and commercial terms
- Familiarity with AI/ML legal and regulatory issues

Market competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $150,000 - 180,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
