Learning Development Adviser 5-month contract – £16 p/h Gloucester

We are looking for a Learning Development Adviser to support managers and develop proactive L&D solutions to drive the business forward.

You will take the lead role within the organisational development function for L&D, and be open to change dependent on the needs of the business. It is a fast moving and challenging environment which requires you to work in a flexible way working closely with Business Partners.

Responsibilities:
– Take a professional lead on learning and development to ensure the service delivered is appropriate, effective and efficient.
– Identify opportunities to make proactive changes in work practices that contribute to HR and continuous business improvement by looking for new solutions and innovative ways to solve problems and review whether the changes implemented are effective on an ongoing basis
– Scope and implement a range of learning interventions to meet the needs of the business including blended learning, face to face delivery and e-learning.
– Work with the learning provider to ensure that we fully benefit from the contract.
– Ensure that the learning management system is utilised to its best potential throughout the organisation.
– Work closely with the business partner or relevant strategic HR lead to scope the needs of the business.
– Implement creative and innovative L&D solutions to improve business outcomes.

Skills/Experience:
– The postholder will be expected to have a variety of knowledge, skills and experience in a range of L&D activities so that they can make an immediate impact with minimal supervision.
– Experience of designing learning interventions
It is desirable that the candidate has knowledge of the public sector.
– Experience of using learning management systems
– Relevant level 5 or above qualification or equivalent experience.
