Arya is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to play a critical role in the software development lifecycle. This position involves overseeing planning, architecture, development, deployment, and optimization across the technology stack. The engineer will be part of a small, agile team dedicated to growing and evolving the engineering organization. The role will impact the technical direction and culture, working on meaningful projects in a collaborative environment that values innovation, ownership, and professional growth.
Identify and address technical debt, continuously improving systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
Monitor and maintain system health in production environments, quickly resolving issues and preventing recurrence.
Mentor and support other engineers through reviews, sharing best practices, and hands-on guidance.
Lead multiple projects from MVP stages to full-feature implementations, ensuring scalability, security, and quality.
Solve complex problems with simple, efficient solutions while maintaining high-quality code.
Drive technical decisions and establish team standards, processes, and best practices.
At least 6 years of experience in software development with a solid understanding of software engineering foundations.
A successful track record of leading projects from concept to completion for a minimum of 3 years.
Experience in architecting systems for longevity, observability, and maintainability.
Scalability mindset with the ability to identify, design, and implement systems and processes.
Previous experience building mobile applications (iOS preferred) is nice to have.
Experience or interest in LLMs and AI technologies is a plus.
