KO591- Full-Time Nanny/Family Assistant - West Village, NY

Overview

A busy family of four living in the West Village is looking for a superstar nanny/family assistant. The role is Monday through Friday, 12pm to 8pm or 2pm or 10pm, depending on the family's schedule. They need someone who has the flexibility to stay over when both parents are traveling. They have a 16-year-old boy and 12-year-old girl. 

Responsibilities

• Provide support and companionship to the teens
• Transport the 12-year-old daughter to and from activities daily 
• Find ways to motivate and connect with the daughter to help her stay on track
• Help with meal prep or ordering dinner
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with mom and dad about the children, school, homework, and well-being
• Errands, scheduling appointments and some light PA work will be available but the children will always be the priority 
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in the children's spaces
• Light housekeeping duties related to the children: laundry, ironing, organizing closets, and maintaining tidy rooms

Qualifications

• The family is looking for a nanny/family assistant who is calm and can connect well with a child with high anxiety

Requirements

• Ability to spend the night when needed
• 5+ years as an experienced full-time nanny
• Excellent work history and references
• Nonsmoker

Salary and Benefits

• $40-$50 per hour plus benefits
