Overview
A lovely, extremely busy family is seeking a long-term, full-time Executive Housekeeper to manage the upkeep and daily operations of their 10,000 sq. ft. residence. The home includes 6 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, and an in-law suite(included in the square footage).
The family includes two parents and three children (ages 11, 5, 1.5) with a newborn due in October. The household is fully staffed with three employees on-site at all times, including nannies and a part-time chef. The Personal Assistant works remotely. This is a casual yet professional household that values long-term staff. Parents, children, and staff are in and out of the home during the day.
The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm. Occasional hosting will be part of the role. Minimal travel may be requested (e.g., NY or CA), though not required; the primary expectation is maintaining the home while the family is away.
The role will ideally start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage part-time housekeeping team (deep cleaning 1–2 days per week)
- Daily upkeep of the home: sweeping, mopping, dusting, tidying, and laundry
- Maintain household supplies, manage grocery inventory, and ensure the home is well-stocked
- Run errands, handle groceries
- Care for family laundry and wardrobe management (strong laundry skills are highly valued)
- Light car care as needed(cleaning out car, taking for a car wash)
- Ensure the home is guest-ready and assist with preparation for social activities
- No bill payments or cooking require
- Full-time residence for principals; must be comfortable in a busy household with young children
- No pets in the home
- Ability to manage a casual household with professionalism
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a HNW private household; formal household experience
- Excellent laundry and garment-care skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable overseeing a housekeeping team
- Professional, discreet, and able to blend in while knowing when to step in
- Long-term commitment minded
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills required
- Driver liscense, clean driving record, and reliable car
- Legal to work in the U.S.
Salary and Benefits
- $45–$60 per hour, depending on experience ($93,600-$124,800 annunally)
- W-2, on the books
- Benefits include:
