Job Title: IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Remote (if located in Houston, will be required to go onsite occasionally)
Salary: 122k-166k / year
About the Role: seeking a highly experienced IT Infrastructure Project Manager to join a global infrastructure operations team. *NOT A JUNIOR PM* This is not an applications PM role but rather someone with expertise in migrating applications into the cloud. The ideal candidate must be able to hit the ground running, work independently, and effectively manage complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage infrastructure projects including application migrations, customer experience initiatives, site migrations, mergers and acquisitions, and voice-over IP implementations.
- Work closely with global teams across Latin America and North America.
- Lead projects such as moving from AWS to GCP, and transitioning teams between service desks.
- Collaborate with architects, service line directors, and offshore teams in India.
- Develop and write business cases for projects, including project financials (cost vs. savings analysis).
- Track project progress, manage status reports, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting of project resources.
- Build relationships and trust with cross-functional teams.
- Handle rapid changes and shifting priorities within a complex environment.
Must have:
- 7+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years of proven PM experience.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud migrations, and enterprise-level integrations.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and AWS migrations required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and allocate resources effectively.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence in working with senior leadership and technical teams.
- Experienced in independently managing projects without relying on predefined templates,
- Ability to take an abstract idea and develop it into a structured project
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Ability to develop relationships across all levels and communicate effectively and work with multiple personality types (Knows how to ask the right questions)
- Ability to accurately forecast and manage personal time and resource allocation
Nice to have:
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions and site migrations.
- Experience working in multicultural environments with offshore/nearshore teams as they are a global team (Latin/North America & resources in India)
- PMP certification (understanding of risk vs issue) (strongly desired)
