About the job
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banking Senior Analyst to join the Middle East Investment Banking team based in Dubai.
The Middle East Investment Banking team advises corporate clients on M&A and IPO transactions in the booming Middle East region. As a Senior Analyst you will be at the heart of corporate finance, and you will be at the forefront of executions / pitches with direct exposure to some of the largest corporations in the Middle East.
The overall objective of this role is to act as a strategic advisor to our clients by formulating investment strategies and raising capital for clients.
Responsibilities:
- Work with senior investment bankers and professionals as a junior member of the Investment Banking team
- Responsible for organizing and analyzing sophisticated financial data used in client proposals and strategic plans
- Prepare written recommendations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals
- Conduct economic/financial research
- Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends
- Develop valuation analyses and financial models, including Trading and Transaction Comparables, Discounted Cash Flow analyses, LBOs and Merger Models
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Intellectual curiosity and proactive mindset
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
Education:
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
