About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to help maintain accurate and efficient inventory operations across multiple storage environments, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas. This position is key to supporting daily warehouse accuracy, resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring smooth product flow throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits across all storage zones.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged product issues.
- Monitor and manage date-sensitive, slow-moving, and obsolete items.
- Identify and analyze causes of weight variances and receiving or put-away issues.
- Ensure all items follow First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation standards.
- Verify reserve pallet counts and maintain accurate documentation.
- Oversee product transfers between temperature-controlled areas as needed.
- Review inventory reports and shrink data; identify trends and recommend solutions.
- Support customer pickup operations, including periodic Saturday coverage.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry required.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and organization.
- Competence with basic math and report creation.
- Ability to work effectively with both management and warehouse teams.
