PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide administrative support to the inventory department by capturing all ordered products, inter-departmental transfers and waste on a daily basis as per the required standard and procedures in order to ensure stock availability and maintain agreed stock level.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- National Senior Level Certificate.
- NQF level 4 Certificate and up to 2 years food retail experience, of which 1 year should be in an administrative environment.
ADVANTAGEOUS
- Certificate in Business Administration/ Procurement/ Logistics and Supply Chain.
- Inventory experience.
- Arch System Experience.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Capture and confirm all deliveries on the system.
- Investigate and report on all inventory discrepancies.
- Record and report all instance of out of stocks to Management.
- Order enough stock for all promotional products at all time and report supply problems to management.
- Liaise with management and suppliers to ensure product availability.
- Provide support for cyclical stock counts.
- Check daily price discrepancy report and confirm on the system if the price is correct.
- Print variance reports and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform general administrative duties.
