Income Officer
About the job
I am looking for an Income Officer to based in Enfield for a 3 month contract (with the view to extend). This role is paying between £16 and £18 an hour via umbrella and the role is inside ir35. Please see the details below and apply if interested.
– Home Ownership Section consisting of three teams Income, Service Charge/Major Works and Sales & Leasehold Services.
Reporting directly to the Income Manager
2. Income Collection
2.1 To ensure the maximum recovery of all service charge income, including the recovery of debts and arrears, in accordance with the Council procedures.
2.2 Issue cases to HMCS for on line Judgement and monitor progress accordingly.
2.3 Refer cases requiring enforcement action to Legal Services and monitor progress accordingly.
2.4 Provide advice on availability of financial assistance for leaseholders in respect of major works debt.
2.5 Respond to leaseholder enquiries regarding outstanding debts to ensure all debts are recoverable.
2.6 Liaise with other departments and sections in order to resolve disputes on outstanding debts.
2.7 Ensure individual leaseholder accounts are set up and updated.
2.8 Administer suspense account, identify and reallocate payments accordingly, assist in reconciliation of service charges accounts as necessary.
2.9 Undertake all administration of Direct Debits and encourage leaseholders to use this payment method.
2.10 Be able to use Northgate system
