ICT Project Manager – Leeds – Full Time – 13 Month Contract – £22ph umbrella
We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Project manager to join an existing team working on several projects up to £1m to improve IT infrastructure and systems.
Your duties and responsibilities will include;
Lead the planning and delivery of 3 to 4 projects, either in-house or working directly with the Lead Delivery Partner.
Lead and instruct multi-disciplinary teams.
Planning, managing, monitoring and reporting on all aspects the projects including financial
Deliver projects on time, to quality and budget in a fast moving project environment.
Responsible for the procurement, appointment and management of technical and commercial consultants, suppliers and contractors
The provision of technical input and support to projects as required.
Preparation of briefs, reports, press releases and communications.
Liaison with internal and external stakeholders, representing WYCA and Delivery Partners, attending and chairing meetings and site visits, as necessary.
Responsible for closing projects and passing to in life service.
To be suitable for this opportunity; you must have:
Relevant Professional Qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, MSP, Agile).
Practical experience of working as an IT project manager
Ideally experience of working within the public sector
The rate for this position is £22ph umbrella.
This position is available full time Monday – Friday 37 hours a week.
This is initially a 3 month contract, but will extend to 13 months.
Role is based in Leeds.
