Introduction
As an IBM SAP Solution Architect lead , you directly help clients transform their business and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms. You are a technical leader, serving as a liaison among business partners, technical resources, and project stakeholders.
Your Role and Responsibilities
• Solution and Deliver SAP Transformational programs into IBM Cloud, with deep involvement in the platform, data, security and infrastructure design.
• Lead Architecture, Strategy, Design and Roadmap of all Integration patterns within any SAP Hybrid integration Landscape.
• Understand and act as a Subject Expert in SAP architectural models and integration between the platforms, always developing for the least risk. Understand the clients application modernization needs and the best cloud modernization strategy for the client.
• Maintain alignment with Product Owners Management business strategy, drivers, and goals
• Ensure that the solutioning of client engagement enhances the customer’s competitive advantage, whilst meeting profit and quality targets for IBM
• Supporting the continuous refinement of IBM’s services, including maturation/training of methods, tools, and points of view, as well as integration with IBM’s other services and products for synergistic value. Harvest, share and present intellectual capital from past and parallel engagement
· Define and elaborate SAP architectures in IBM Cloud , create public SAP architecures and work with Technical Writing Team to publish it on IBM Cloud SP dedicated documentation repos
· Work with Github as our source code management tool
· Become a contributor for CI/CD topics and get familiar with Github pipelines ,REST API development
· Basic know-how How SAP LAMA (Landscape Management) works to use it for the execution of your scripts & libraries
- Help the team to automate reoccurring manual operational tasks into script-based workflows
- Familiar with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) to make use of its potential for automation
· Very good knowledge of Ansible, very good knowledge about infrastructure automation and best practice concepts
· As a Senior Architecture Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical and architectural discussions with the customers,partners or stakeholders in solution roadmap development.
