Position Overview

Avolta is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Advisor to join our team in a pro bono, advisory capacity. This role is designed for individuals passionate about HR and organizational development who wish to contribute their expertise to a mission-driven organization.

As an Advisor, your contributions will be advisory, consultative, and non-operational. You will provide high-level guidance, mentorship, and recommendations on talent acquisition, HR policies, and workplace culture. This is not an employment relationship and does not involve performing employee-type duties; instead, it is a thought-leadership role that complements Avolta’s existing team.

Key Advisory Contributions

  • Provide strategic advice on talent acquisition, employee engagement, and HR policies to support Avolta’s mission and goals.

  • Share insights on HR best practices, organizational development, and workplace culture.

  • Participate in high-level discussions to shape Avolta’s HR and people strategies.

  • Offer independent perspectives on HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.

  • Act as a mentor and guide to Avolta leadership on HR-related matters.

  • Provide consultative feedback on HR initiatives where naturally necessary to ensure alignment with best practices.

  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in all advisory activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources, organizational development, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker, able to provide guidance without execution of operational tasks.

  • High level of responsibility, maturity, and a commitment to Avolta’s mission.

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership in an advisory capacity.

  • Familiarity with HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, ATS).

  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.

  • Advisors are not integrated as employees and do not perform employee-type duties.
