Overview
A busy family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time personal assistant/house manager. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, approximately 40 hours per week, with the expectation to monitor texts and emails after hours and on weekends. Flexibility in scheduling is essential for this role. Most work hours will be conducted in the family home, with some hours remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage family calendars and schedules
- Coordinate travel arrangements for the family
- Run errands as needed
- Manage gift lists and shopping
- Assist the principal with administrative tasks
- Liaise with vendors and contractors
- Coordinate with the family office
- Oversee household inventory and organization
- Manage operations for two family homes, one on the Upper East Side and another in the Hamptons
- Manage a team of household staff
Requirements
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Family-friendly and approachable demeanor
- Must love dogs
- Tech-savvy and proficient with various software and apps
- Previous experience in a high-profile and formal home is required
- Extreme discretion and confidentiality are essential
Salary and Benefits
- $125,000-$150,000 DOE
