HN300 - Full-Time Nanny - McLean, VA

Overview

A wonderful young family in McLean, VA is seeking a fantastic nanny for their baby boy who is currently 8-months-old. The role can be live-in (preference) or live-out. The family is open to relocating a nanny for this role. The schedule is Monday through Friday 9am-5pm and flexibility is appreciated. The Mother is a SAHM. They have a full-time live-in housekeeper and a full-time driver. The nanny must be okay to travel both domestic and international; they have a second home in Florida as well they spend time at. The role starts ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing baby's developmental milestones
• Reading to baby and engaging in developmental play
• Preparing healthy food for the baby
• Cleaning anything that has to do with the baby's laundry, toys, bottles, strollers, etc.
• Diapering
• Overseeing nap schedule and putting baby down for naps
• Eventual age-appropriate milestones oversight: walking, potty-training, etc.
• Even though family has a driver, must be a licensed driver with a clean record in case nanny needs to drive the child
• Able to travel both domestic and international

Qualifications

• True bond with their loving and charismatic son
• A nanny who is patient, empathetic, active, and has an energetic attitude

Requirements

• Must be comfortable around dogs as the family has 2 dogs: 1 boxer who is 60 lbs. and a doodle who is 30 lbs. (zero dog care is involved)
• At least 2 former glowing references the client can contact themselves in the final hiring stages
• Ability to get along with other household staff

Salary and Benefits

• $35-45+/hour (must have documentation to work as they will put you on their payroll)
