Help Desk Technician

Spurwink is a behavioral health agency that responds to community needs by providing behavioral health care, substance use disorder services and support services for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds, and their families. We are hiring a Help Desk Technician for IT Infrastructure and Support.

This position is a full-time in office position, 40 hours per week with a schedule of 8 AM to 4:30 PM. The pay range is $20-$22 per hour depending on experience.

DUTIES:

• Act as a contact (help desk) for all problems related to the use of information technology within the Spurwink organization. Maintain appropriate documentation for problem tracking and resolution. Contact correct resource following approved procedures. Follow-up to ensure satisfactory resolution. Provide PC hardware/software maintenance support as assigned.
• Implement new hardware and software on workstations. Provide basic training when appropriate.
• Assist with setup and administration of user accounts for network and application access.
• Follow all safety practices in use of supplies and equipment and perform duties in accordance with safety precautions, policies, and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associates Degree or equivalent years of experience working with PCs, servers other network devices in LAN/WAN environment, cloud infrastructure, and virtual machines. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
