Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work on various mechanical and technical systems
- Complete work orders
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics for the purpose of assembly
- Use various test equipment, hand tools, and measuring equipment
- Operate heavy construction equipment and forklifts
- Assembling, repairing and testing heavy equipment
Job Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Working knowledge of various mechanical and technical systems
- Practical knowledge of gasoline and diesel engines and associated systems
- Ability to read and understand schematics and prints
- Capacity to lift 50 pounds and climb to/work at heights of up to 15 feet
- Complete a full workday walking and/or standing
- Tolerance working outside in all reasonable weather conditions with exposure to dirt, dust, and fumes from the operation of construction equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc.
- Steel-toed boots/shoes
- Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in a professional shop/yard environment. Frequent exposure to the elements (such as dust, dirt, rain,) and chemicals (such as fumes and fluids) occur during operation of construction and agricultural equipment, cranes, forklifts, etc. This position will utilize standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printer/copiers.
