Sonomo is seeking an experienced and motivated Financial Controller to take complete ownership of our operational financial matters. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial integrity and supporting strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the company’s general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Managing tax reporting and liaising with relevant authorities to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Monitoring and analyzing platform KPIs to drive performance improvements.
- Producing a comprehensive monthly investor reporting package, providing insights and transparency.
- Assisting with legal and compliance-related matters to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Supporting strategic decision-making and finance initiatives to drive company growth and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of four years of experience as a Financial Controller (or equivalent role).
- Proficiency in Excel, with experience in database querying considered a plus.
- Highly analytical with a solid understanding of capital markets.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English is essential.
