Finance Associate
About the job
• Manage all customer and courier facing financial transactions and ensure billing and accounting for customer and courier accounts are accurate and processed in a timely manner
• Undertake detailed work on transforming significant amounts of complex data to precise formatting, ensuring no loss of data integrity
• Perform deep dive analysis on high quantities of data and provide key findings to the team in a clear and concise manner
• Work with the Head of Finance Operations and wider Finance team to automate and improve existing processes and design new ones
• Function within the Finance Operations team to assist in providing management with actionable commercial insights on company performance
• Assist with the roll out of financial reporting (FR) tools to new markets and couriers across the globe
• Collaborate with peers across finance, operations, sales and customer success across global locations; report to Head of Finance Operations
Requirements
- Self-motivated and able to work comfortably under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of advanced Excel is essential
- Knowledge of SQL is highly desirable
- Able to translate large volumes of data into clear and actionable tasks
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks in fast-paced transaction-led environment with various stakeholders (couriers, customers, internal stakeholders)
- Drive, motivation, and excellent attention to detail
- Fluency in English (oral & written)
