Duties may include: Harvesting: Workers will walk behind field pack machines, bend to near ground level and cut commodity with knife after determining the quality is acceptable. Workers will then pitch commodity into conveyor machine. Workers will check quality and put it into boxes. Workers will use plastic bags to pack commodities, then seal them with tape. Workers will stack boxes onto pallets. Field work: Workers will be planting, cultivating, pulling or hoeing weeds in vegetable fields, carrying and connecting irrigation pipes, tilling soil, thinning, counting and checking crops. Include driving and controlling equipment such as tractors to support agricultural activities such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops.
