Engineering Manager

My client, a leader in information technology jobs within the telecommunications sector, is seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager for their Development Engineering department. Reporting to the Engineering Executive, you'll guide 2-3 teams of 10-20 software engineers in developing and evolving cutting-edge product suites. Responsibilities include motivating teams to deliver high-quality releases on time, translating business priorities into actionable goals, implementing agile practices for seamless delivery, providing technical guidance on product support, coaching for career growth, and collaborating cross-functionally with Product Owners and stakeholders to align roadmaps. Skills & Experience:
Minimum 12+ years in software engineering, including minimum 3+ years in a leadership role
Strong background in software development and release processes
Proven ability to manage teams, projects, and budgets
Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills
Knowledge of telecoms, networks, and internet technologies is a strong advantage

Qualification:
B.Eng or B.Sc. in Computer Science (leadership/management qualifications a plus).
