Electrician (Oceanside, CA)
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Under the direction of the Lead Electrician, Shop Supervisor or Vice President, Manufacturing, individual shall perform the following:
Assemble, install and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment and fixtures, using had tools and power tools.
Connect wires to circuit breakers or other components.
Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
Fasten plastic boxes to bulkheads to boat electrical switches or outlets.
Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; and install components and units.
Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths.
Read and interpret schematic drawings.
Install electrical distribution including conduits, cables, wires, and related equipment such as circuit breakers, and switches.
Cut openings and drill holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills and routers.
Install equipment and accessories such as navigation equipment, and communication equipment.
Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Other Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (safety glasses, masks, goggles, etc.).
