Job Summary AECOM is seeking an Electrical Engineer to be based in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities: Electrical Engineer will serve as discipline design lead on projects that include an emphasis on receipt, storage, transfer, and issue of finished fuel products such as aviation jet fuel, diesel fuel, ethanol, and motor gasoline. Projects include tanker truck receipt, marine vessel receipt, aboveground and underground transfer pipelines, aboveground and underground horizontal and vertical storage tanks, and aircraft and tanker truck issue systems. Projects will also include ground vehicle refueling systems such as fleet and retail service stations. Electrical Engineer will work and coordinate with multidiscipline engineering teams including civil, structural, and mechanical engineers. Position will include responsibility for development of discipline specific design execution plans for assigned projects. Position will be responsible for completing projects on schedule and within the established budgets and for ensuring that all discipline specific contract requirements have been met. Electrical Engineer will ensure that designs following established project quality procedures and that required quality control reviews and checks are completed and documented. Electrical Engineer will assist in training and supervision of work of junior and entry-level engineers conducting fueling design work. At AECOM, were delivering a better world. Other experience related to process design, waste water treatment, and/or heavy industry design projects will be considered as an alternate Ability to travel one week per month inside the US and internationally Experience and ability to use AutoCad Passed FE exam and hold current EIT Experience in design of systems that use a PLC control Experience with large and small motor controls Due to the nature of work, US Citizenship is required.
