EH116 - Full-Time Nanny - Manhattan/Europe

Overview

A wonderful first-time mom living in Manhattan is seeking a nanny to help care for her first baby. There will be a NCS for the first 3 months, so this position will start in January 2026. This is a full-time, live-in position. The schedule is to be confirmed, but it will be approximately 40 hours per week. 

Mom wants to be as involved as possible and is happy to accept advice and guidance. You will all be returning to Europe after around six months, where you will reside full-time in either Verbier, Switzerland or Milan, Italy. There will be some possible travel to Europe before the move to Switzerland and London for up to a week at a time, and mom would like the nanny and baby to accompany her.

Responsibilities

• All aspects of childcare for the child, including managing sleep and feeding schedules; initially working with the night newborn care specialist
• Handling baby laundry and maintaining organization of the baby's spaces
• Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases
• Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily
• Researching classes and making sure the baby gets out for social and educational outings 
• Packing for travel and planning outings in all locations 
• Once the baby is ready offer mom advice on weaning, and be willing to prepare healthy, organic meals

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the area would be helpful but isn't essential
• 5-10 years experience is preferred
• Be willing to help out with light-housework, washing, ironing, etc
• Sourcing organic food products
• Cooking healthy, nutritious, and organic meals for both mom and baby

Requirements

• Up to date CPR/First Aid certified
• Mom is spontaneous and fun and would like the candidate to be like minded.

Salary and Benefits

• $35-$45/hr
• 5 sick days
• 10 PTO - a review of vacation days when relocated
