EBS WMS Technical Consultant

Responsibilities

• Set up Oracle EBS WMS to meet the business requirements.
• Configure inventory, shipping, and receiving functionalities within the WMS module.
• Customize workflows and processes to align with warehouse operations.
• Develop custom reports, forms, and interfaces using Oracle tools such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and Oracle Workflow.
• Create and manage custom extensions and modifications to the WMS module.
• Integrate WMS with other Oracle EBS modules (like Inventory, and Order Management) and external systems.
• Provide ongoing technical support for the WMS module.
• Troubleshoot issues related to WMS functionalities, performance, and integrations.
• Apply patches and upgrades to the Oracle EBS environment, ensuring minimal disruption to warehouse operations.
• Handle data migration tasks during implementations or upgrades.
• Ensure data integrity within the WMS module.
• Develop and manage data interfaces between WMS and other systems.
• Work closely with warehouse managers, logistics teams, and other businesses.

Qualifications

• Typically, a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience working with Oracle EBS, specifically in the WMS module.
• Oracle EBS other modules like SCM and Finance Technical Knowledge will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non- technical stakeholders.
• Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle Workflow, and other Oracle development tools.
• Deep understanding of the Oracle EBS WMS module, including setup, configuration, and customization.
• Experience integrating Oracle EBS WMS with other Oracle modules and external systems.
