At Eni, we are looking for a Drilling & Completion Day Supervisor within Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V. in Offshore Libya Jack Up. You will be supervising drilling and completion operations at the well site, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, HSEQ standards and good petroleum engineering practices, while pursuing the best results in terms of safety, time and cost effectiveness of well operations.

At Eni, we are looking for a Drilling & Completion Day Supervisor within Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V. in Offshore Libya Jack Up. You will be supervising drilling and completion operations at the well site, ensuring that activities are carried out in accordance with company procedures, HSEQ standards and good petroleum engineering practices, while pursuing the best results in terms of safety, time and cost effectiveness of well operations.
As a member of the well area (engineering) department at Mellitah Oil & Gas B.V. you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing drilling and completion programs to ensure they are executed in accordance with company procedures, and approaching each single operation with particular attention to well integrity and operational safety
- Coordinating and supervising company and contractor personnel involved in the operations at the well site
- Monitoring consumption and stock of materials available, and request personnel, services, equipment and material in due time to avoid any delay in the operations
- Reporting on a regular basis on the progress of operations, and agree on any corrective actions when necessary, providing support in the resolution of operational problems, including analysis of Real Time Drilling Data from site
- Ensuring lessons learnt and related recommendations are captured and shared, to improve future operations
- Participating as a member of the emergency task force in the event of a major emergency, taking immediate actions to safeguard personnel, assets and environment
- Representing the company at the well site in all matters.
This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or high school diploma
- Extensive experience in drilling & completion operations
- Required knowledge :
- Drilling Operations (Horizontal Drilling, Drilling Fluids & Cement)
- Advanced Drilling: Lean Profile, Underbalance Drilling, HPHT Drilling, Managed Pressure Drilling, Extended Reach Drilling, Wellbore Stability
- Completion and work-over operations (Well Testing, Gravel Pack, Well Stimulation)
- Advanced Completion : Dual Completion, Intelligent Completion
- Rigless Operations
- Understanding of cost analysis/cost control
- Good knowledge of well data management and reporting software
- Familiar with the digitalization process, including Real Time Monitoring, rig site drilling packages for performance optimization and rig automatization processes.
- Required certificates :
- Well Control Level 4 (IWCF or IADC)
- H2S
- Valid Bosiet
