About the job

The Director of Technology is responsible for all aspects of educational technology on the Falmouth Academy campus. The duties of the position are divided into two primary areas: Tech Support: Maintain and provide support for the hardware and software needs of the school’s technology. Ed Tech: Facilitate and support teachers’ efforts and initiatives in integrating technology in a sensible and meaningful way into their classrooms. This is a wonderful opportunity to lead a school’s discussions about and implementation of technology in education. Falmouth Academy enjoys a strong reputation as an academically challenging institution that is uniquely positioned to take advantage of the scientific community in Wood’s Hole and the cultural and artistic community of Cape Cod. The Director of Technology reports to the Assistant Head of School and serves on the Administrative Council. The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in Computer Science or related field, and have a minimum of five years experience in a school-based educational technology setting.
